MINISTER`S WELCOME MESSAGE

Honorable national and international marine fisheries officials,

We invite all maritime and fisheries stakeholders from around the world to attend the 8th Asia-Pacific Maritime Digital International Conference at the Signiel Hotel in Busan from September 10th (Tuesday) to 11th (Wednesday).

The conference is jointly organized by the Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans (MOF), the International

Association of Maritime Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authority (IALA), and the Danish Maritime Authority (DMA), and is a forum to discuss maritime digital technology exchange and cooperation between Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.

The Asia-Pacific International Conference, now in its eighth year, is themed "Opening The Future with Maritime Digitalization" and consists of five sessions, including "Next Generation Maritime Digital, the Future Begins", "Industrialization of Next Generation Maritime Digital Technology", and "Harmonized Global Maritime Mobility".

We invite renowned experts, academics, and industry representatives from around the world to share the latest policies and technologies on maritime digital, and to focus on ways to collaborate towards the common goal of global maritime digitalization.

We hope that this conference will serve as a platform for international harmonization and cooperation in maritime digital technologies to promote the digitalization of the world's oceans, and we look forward to the interest and participation of all maritime and fisheries stakeholders at home and abroad to make this conference a success.
